Another success of Hugh James and it has been a very good week for them. Which wont please someone we know on the other side.

Have read the newspaper article on this case and especially the comments made by one Julia Dutchman-Bailey, who is NHS Sussex Chief Nurse.

I wonder what strange version of reality this person lives in? Or just how big fools people are to believe the rubbish she is talking.

She says "" There is a straightforward and easily accessible process for assessing the health needs of individuals. "" Clearly she has never seen the domain support tool or The National Framework or she is lying out of her backside.

"" NHS Sussex does not believe legal support is required to complete this process and would encourage anyone to get in touch directly."" They wish!

How do they expect people to win their claims for CHC then when they dont accept the person is eligible for CHC. "" AND WOULD ENCOURAGE ANYONE TO GET IN TOUCH DIRECTLY ""........................Utter B*******

"" NHS Sussex is keen that when patients and their families are eligible for funding they receive all the money they are entitled to, without having to spend some of it on legal fees paid to solicitors.""

But what this woman does not seem to understand is that people are paying solicitors money in order to get the silly Bastards at NHS Sussex and elsewhere to pay up for what they are supposed to cover under the NHS. Where did they find this woman from ( its not that guy from Iraq in drag is it working for Sussex NHS? You know the one who was telling all that stuff about how well they were doing even when the Americans where in front of him at the airport. )
If they paid the care fees in the first place they wouldnt be any need for solicitors to get involved in the first place. And of course it is not people who are eligible for CHC who are going to solicitors anyway is it.

Anyone out there who has ever known of any NHS PCT that was keen to see that families received all of the money?

I might just write to this stupid woman and let her know a few home truths. :

This is the meridian link to same story. Sorry am a little behind (wish); I was really really pleased to read that HJ are the family solicitors - please please all keep your fingers crossed for me (they're assessing Mum's case now) - will take 2-3 weeks.
