Trust repays £100,000 in care home fees
This story's elsewhere/somewhere on the forum, but it's only just reached the Eastbourne Herald so I thought I'd post it again anyway:
http://www.eastbourneherald.co.uk/news/local-news/trust-repays-100-000-in-care-home-fees-1-3810932
Julia Dutchman-Bailey, NHS Sussex director of quality and chief nurse, said, “There is a straightforward and easily accessible process.
“I do not believe legal support is required to complete this process and would encourage anyone to get in touch directly.
“NHS Sussex is keen that when patients and their families are eligible for funding they receive all the money they are entitled to, without having to spend some of it on legal fees paid.”
Don't all laugh at once - it could be deafening!!

Should we all send her all our fruitless correspondence, complete with the meaningless replies?? I could look into hiring a juganaut to pack it all into. Better still, a lorry which finds itself mysteriously ploughing into the no-doubt very nicely appointed block where this parasite works. Can feel my blood pressure rising...must breathe....must calm down...must put down this knife....
