The purpose of this forum is to provide information, advice, support and assistance to anyone who cares about care. We are all involved somehow or other in trying to provide the best care for those we care about, so we are here to share the experience we have and the knowledge we have acquired along the way.

We are not professionals, although professionals are welcome to join and to help us find our way through the maze of the world of care.

We are not legally trained or qualifed, but we welcome advice from those who are. All members are advised to check, then check again any advice given here. It may work for you - it may not suit your own circumstances. We cannot to be held to account for anything that anyone follows here by way of advice. That is all it is - advice based on their own experience.

We can but try.

A final word of caution: if anyone is approached, by PM or by email via the forum, by someone offering their services (of any description) for a 'fee' (of any description and even though it may be a disguised fee), you are advised not to accept that offer.
